About
Between 1998 and 2011 Maximilian Hartmuth has studied History, Art History, and Cultural Management in Vienna, Belgrade, and Istanbul, where he was recently awarded a doctoral degree from Sabanci University for a dissertation on the social history of artistic production in the Ottoman Balkans. He has published on various aspects of the cultural heritage of Southeast European societies and continues to promote the study of which in its local, regional, and global dimensions.
